**St. Michael the Archangel // Lamont’s Bishops House**

Some wedding days just feel extra special — not just beautiful, but deeply personal. This was one of those days.
I met Allysa and Jesse twice before their big day - first during our initial chat over coffee and then when I photographed their engagement session, and since then they’ve truly felt like friends. They’ve been so warm and supportive, always showing so much appreciation for my work — the kind of connection that makes what I do feel even more meaningful.
Their wedding was simple, soft, and full of heart. Allysa, who is Filipino (maybe that’s why I felt such an instant bond with her and her family), and Jesse, her high school sweetheart, created a day that was as genuine as they are.
They were married at St. Michael the Archangel in Leederville — a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony made even more memorable by the priest’s homily on love.
Afterwards we headed to the reception area. We took portraits nearby, in a quiet little garden at Lamont’s Bishop’s House — the perfect space for a moment of calm before the party!
But what stayed with me most were the little gestures that spoke volumes: instead of tossing her bouquet, Allysa dedicated her flowers — and those of her bridesmaids — to the women who shaped her life. And Jesse’s speech, delivered in Tagalog for Allysa’s family, was such a tender and thoughtful moment.
It was a day full of love — between Allysa and Jesse, within both of their families, and woven through every moment shared. I left with a full heart, so grateful to have been part of it.

We feel incredibly lucky that Ria and Jack were the ones to document the most important day of our lives. Ria’s photos are absolutely stunning - full of warmth, love, and all the little in-between moments that made the day what it was. These two are not only insanely talented, they’re also just truly lovely people.
